Student Registration Terms and Conditions 1. Teaching Concept a) I understand that YelaoShr® Creative Learning Center’s curriculum is not based on the school’s exam and syllabus. However, it is according to each individual’s learning progress and capability. b) I understand that in YelaoShr® Creative Learning Center’s curriculum, children must take turn to meet up with the various subject’s teachers for one-to-one tutoring during the lessons. Time allocated for rest, reading, workbook-doing, multimedia system learning are included in 90/120min lessons in order to create a fun and relaxing learning environment. 2. Fees and Charges a) To effectively and efficiently manage all branches, the HQ of YelaoShr® Creative Learning Centre has jointly implemented the Centre Management System (CMS) with all branches to record and keep track all sorts of transactions inclusive of tutor fee, offers and promotions, book materials, attendance and replacement of classes, etc. Please login to http://www.teacheryap.net which is the centre management portal to understand and keep track on your children learning levels.b) Parents are required to pay the registration fee, tuition fee, and one-month advance tuition fee during the registration of your child. c) Regardless of whether the child is absent or need replacement lessons(only applicable to ONE ON ONE class) from last month, parents please be sure to pay monthly fees prior the 1st day of each month.d) Those overdue payment of tuition fees will be considered suspended. The advanced fee will be forfeited after 2 months of suspended. e) Any absence without prior notice to the center will be considered suspended. The advanced fee will be forfeited after 2 months of non-attendance of the child.f) All fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Kindly insist to obtain an official receipt upon any payment made for future references. 3. Advance Tuition Fee and Suspension Notice a) The payment for the advanced fee is non-refundable and it is used to offset the final month’s tutoring fees (Advanced Fee and Class Pull-Out notice: An one-month suspension notice given by parents needed to offset the final month’s tutoring fees. )b) The Advanced Fee will be forfeited after 2 months of non-attendance of the child. 4. Class Time and Public Holidays a) Parents are advised to follow individual selected timetables and be punctual for the classes. b) Parents need to act in concert with centre schedule, any amendments would not be allowed. (Special Notice: NO replacement lessons will be given. Missed lesson will then be considered as a lesson taken. The missed lesson cannot be use to compensate for the monthly fees.)c) For sick and bereavement leave, parents are required to produce proof or evidence for application. The centre will arrange a maximum of two (2) replacement lessons(only applicable to ONE ON ONE class) which shall be determined and completed within fourteen (14) days from the date-of-leave. The centre will not arrange for any replacement lesson without valid reasons of absence.d) A replacement lesson will not be further arranged or extended if it is not determined or completed within the above-mentioned period. completed within the above-mentioned period. e) The centre will be closed on all public holidays which include special announced public holidays. NO replacement lessons will be given for all missed lessons during public holidays.f) Replacement lessons will not be given on these certain center special holidays. There are no refunds and no replacement lessons for these holidays. 5. Matters That Require Cooperation from Parents a) In order to avoid any form of disruption to the children, parents are advised to leave the centre when classes are in progress. b) Tutors and teachers in our centre are teaching children in the way of one-on-one tutoring while taking care of the children in a tight schedule. We need parents’ understanding to personally pick up their children at the doorstep of the centre instead of calling for the tutors or teachers to leave the classroom to pick up children downstairs. Such behaviour can cause great distress and disruption to the teachers and children in classes. c) Parents should accompany their child to centre doorstep and ensure your child had gone upstairs before leaving them, do not drop off your child from vehicles and let them walk by their own, without supervision. d) Parents should pick up their children at the centre doorstep instead of calling the centre, telling the children to go to the parents’ car on their own. Sometimes, in order to complete the progress of the lessons, there will be some delay of the dismissal, please wait patiently. e) If other families are being entrusted to pick up their children, parents should inform the centre in advance. f) All children must be fetched on time after dismissal; a surcharge of RM10 per half an hour will be imposed. g) For the safety and welfare of all children and adults in the centre, parents are advised not to send their children to the centre when they are ill or have any form of contagious sickness. If the child in the centre is found suffering from any illness, the parents should come to fetch the child immediately for medical attention. h) Parents can take back their children’s homework to learn their learning progress. In addition, the centre will inform parents of the children’s learning progress from time to time. Parents can also make an appointment with the person in charge of the centre to understand the children’s progress face to face, if necessary. i) Parents are discouraged to let their children to bring phones, toys and anything’s valuables to the centre, if lost, the centre shall not be held responsible. The centre will inform the parents of any other important regulations by giving further notice.
